Books

Books are critical to the whole concept of resiliency.  Without knowledge there is no way to become or remain resilient in a rapidly changing world.  The time to gather the information that you need to make soap, butcher a chicken, dress a wound, or install a solar panel is NOW not the day you discover that these things are critical to your families life. Books, in hard copy or e-book format (We love our Kindles!) are the ultimate sources of the information that can make your life more functional, pleasurable and resilient.

The Crash Course by Chris Martenson, PhD. is an excellent summary of the 4 E’s: Energy, Economy, Environment and Exponential growth.  Chris lays out clearly how our world economy, energy demands and resource availability are all interconnected and how they are on a collision course with our exponential population growth.

The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey is the book that we used to get control of our money and become Debt Free!

The Total Money Makeover isn’t theory. It works every single time. It works because it is simple. It works because it gets to the heart of the money problems: you.
